OUR PROJECT HISTORY: "MishCa"
MishCa Art and Craft House was founded in 2018 in Canada by Gina Cabezas and Iuliia Mishanina.
The idea of Mishca project began about 20 years ago in Ecuador when Gina and her children experimented recycling paper from natural materials.Through all these years Gina has been improving techniques and collecting data to manufacture organic paper.
Gina and Iuliia joined their skills to start MishCa project to paint on organic handmade paper.
Gina: "In general, all our papers are unique, there is not a single one that can be repeated, each has its own recipe with an investment of love, care and new ideas"
Iuliia: "As an artist: Looking a natural paper, the texture and form, creates a desire to paint exclusively natural images as well: landscapes, still lifes, animals, birds, etc."
